NeighborWorks America Awards $11.8 Million in Fifth Tranche of FY 2025 Flexible Impact Grants

Fiscal Year 2025 Investment of $71.5 Million To Date to Nonprofits Delivering Market-Based Solutions to the Nation’s Housing Supply and Affordability Crisis 

Washington, D.C. – NeighborWorks® America announced today housing and lending activities by its nationwide network of nonprofit community development organizations resulted in $2.32 billion of total investment into the creation and preservation of affordable homeownership and rental housing. Federal investment in NeighborWorks America is an efficient and effective way to deliver affordable housing dollars, with every dollar of federal appropriation multiplied 71 times on behalf of individuals and families across America. 
Cindy Vidal struggled to find a place she could afford – a home where she could raise her children in a safe, stable environment. That search ended when she discovered Guardian Village, a newly opened housing development in the heart of Reedley, California. The village shows how NeighborWorks network organizations are creating homes and building America. Veterans are also being helped by these new apartment homes.
