Investing in Leadership:  Solutions that Advance Nonprofit Excellence  

Wednesday, August 12 | 8:30 a.m. – 3:45 p.m

Join us as we convene and learn from four stakeholder groups – resident leaders, board members, people-managers and senior executives – to examine the critical importance of investing in leadership development now so, together, we can effectively advance the work ahead.

At the NeighborWorks Training Institute, we help you learn more so you can do more. Investing in Leadership explores how leadership development leads to practical solutions that strengthen organizations and expand community impact. Participants will learn how developing talent at every level improves retention, fine-tunes decision-making and builds organizational strength, resulting in clear strategies to invest in people and advance impact.  

Centering our four stakeholder groups, we’ll explore why and how leadership development investment is so important. Through multiple targeted conversations, we’ll discuss prioritizing, assessing and removing obstacles and designing succession plans. Peers will share what’s been tried, and what has and hasn’t worked. Participants will leave the day with a roadmap for what comes next. 

And if that isn’t enough, the Miami Beach NTI Theme is Waves of Leadership: The Next Wave Starts Here - and the idea is simple. Every skill you build, every connection you make, every strategy you take home, ripples outward. Into your organization. Into your community. Into the families and individuals you serve.
