Foreclosure Intervention Services During Disaster Recovery

This faculty-led webinar equips housing counselors to assist homeowners facing foreclosure risks after disasters. Participants will review disaster types, presidential disaster declarations, and the latest loss mitigation options for FHA, VA, USDA, and conforming loans. The course covers mortgage moratoriums, credit impacts, late fee waivers, scams, and the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, as well as how federal and state disaster declarations protect homeowners. Through resource materials, interactive polling, and faculty Q&A, counselors will gain practical skills and current resources to guide clients through disaster recovery and foreclosure intervention. The training provides 1.5 hours of continuing education.
