Course Details

This faculty-led webinar is designed for housing counselors preparing for the HUD certification exam or seeking to strengthen their competency in tenancy. The course covers practical methods for assisting clients in understanding lease agreements, tenant and landlord responsibilities, and the importance of renters insurance. Participants will also learn effective strategies for resolving disputes between landlords and tenants. Through interactive activities, resource materials, and faculty Q&A, counselors will gain the skills and confidence needed to support clients in navigating rental housing challenges. The training provides 1.5 hours of continuing education and is essential for counselors at HUD-approved agencies.
