This course equips housing rehabilitation and construction professionals with the expertise to perform effective, efficient inspections. Explore the inspection process, from identifying structural, water, code, health, and energy issues to using specialized tools for measurement, access, and documentation. Learn to organize inspections, apply problem-solving techniques, and document findings with checklists, photos, and video. The course covers developing and editing rehabilitation standards, assembling toolkits, and knowing when to outsource functions. Through interactive exercises and simulated inspections, you will build the skills needed to create comprehensive scopes of work and ensure high-quality, compliant rehabilitation projects.
