The impact of COVID-19 on renters has brought about a substantial increase in rental counseling demand. Counseling renters following the pandemic requires updates to current rental counseling processes, including an understanding of new relief programs.

This course will arm learners with the most current information on the COVID-19 Tenant Relief Act, government assistance programs, eviction moratorium and rental relief options. It will also provide tips and resources so housing counselors can assist clients efficiently and effectively, helping clients avoid eviction. You will also be provided with the latest updates on tenant rights and federal procedures.
