Utilizing Community Impact Measurement to Advance Your Place-Based Comprehensive Community Development Work
Community Impact Measurement (CIM) enables local organizations to gain insight about things that are challenging to capture yet are most important to communities: how do residents feel about quality of life in their community? how safe do they feel? how connected are they with their neighbors? how do physical conditions reflect a sense of pride in the community? Through CIM NeighborWorks Organizations have been able to hear directly from residents and use that insight to strengthen their place-based comprehensive community development work in multiple ways: in developing a community plan; to refine strategies, programs and services; and to document progress and change over time. Join us to hear from your peers about learning from CIM results and using their insights to strengthen their place-based comprehensive community development work.
