Project Reinvest: Financial Capability

Project Reinvest: Financial Capability provides funding for organizations with financial capability counseling/coaching that will help clients stabilize their finances, rebuild credit and establish savings.

Funds were awarded to applicants with demonstrated experience in providing financial capability services to clients. Additional funds were made available to supplement selected organizations' existing matched savings programs.

On June 30, 2017, a total of $31.58 million was awarded to 65 grantees through a national, competitive process. In July 2018, an additional $1.48 million was awarded to top performing grantees to support additional financial capability counseling and coaching.
