Recognition for the NeighborWorks network
Each year, NeighborWorks organizations win awards for making a difference to people in the communities they serve. The following organizations were recently recognized:
Hudson River Housing’s Support Services For Veteran Families program was selected for the 2014 Award for Innovative Excellence from Syracuse University’s Institute for Veterans and Military Families. Read about the award.
Neighborhood Housing Services of Greater Cleveland earned the the Project of the Year Award from the Ohio Community Development Corporation Association for Cleveland CityLIFT. Read about the award.
Donna Hudson received the 2014 Sargent Shriver Achievement Award for her work with Little Dixie Community Action Agency, an Oklahoma-based NeighborWorks organization. The Community Action Partnership gives the award to individuals who, with the assistance of a community action agency, have successfully changed their lives and achieved economic stability.
